The driver for this controller is found after an exhaustive search through the rediculously incomprehensible hardware compatibility guide, here:

But where is the download?? It directs me to the general downloads site (come on, vmware, get your content right! make sensible deeplinks!) but from there I can only find the 5.0 drivers, see here:

Will the 5.0 drivers work on 5.1 or something? And if they do, why are they not renamed to 5.x? This is confusing as friggin usual!
