cannot virtualize physical machine . this local machine greyed out. on xp host

hi

i am also having same issue ..

i have windows xp sp3 32bit . and i am running vmware 9 and also converter ..

i have been using this winodws for a long time now i have installed 8gb ram and windows 7 x64 so i will be permentantly usnig that and using this xp as vm there ..

now when i open the converter and enter the localhost and the password it gives me error .. titled "converter security warning" "certificate warnings" the remote host certificate has these problems .. and if i ignore it and then clicking on the "convert machine" i cannot select the  "this local machine" its greyed out ..

i am running it from xp (host) ..

also when i try the convert from vmware

click on File _ Virtualize a physical machine ---

and enter localhost and username and password in the "virtualize physical machine"box and click next and enter the location where to save .. then click next then i get the finish button but clicking it starts including all my drives/partitions in image .. including the one one in which i will be storing it .. i.e. i do  not get any option to deselect all drives except c ..

edit: i forgot to say that i am logged in as administrator and has disabled all the firewalls (using only windows firewall .. no antivirus etc) and also disabled internet and closed all other programs except this vmware .. and also disabled simple file sharing ..

thnks
