I have just partitioned an external hard drive:
- 1.5Tb as Mac Os Extended Journalled: to be used for Time Machine
- 0.5Tb as ExFat: to be used to back up stuff from Windows (running on VMWare)
Is there someway I can get the ExFat to mount on Windows, and the Mac Os Extended to mount on the Mac?
If I connect/disconnet the drive using Virtual Machine-->USB & Blutooth-->Connect... then (of course) both partitions will mount/dismount. I'm not sure that is wise as Time Machine could be operating in the background...not sure if will adversely affect it.
Any help would be appreciated as I'm a newbie!
