Hi All!
I need some help with the following scenario.
I have several machines to virtualize via DRAC or iLO, and i must keep the local interation to a minimum possible.
In some sites, i have only one server, that i have to create a VM to an USB disk, install ESXi on this same machine, and add to this ESXi the virtual machine create earlier.
I was trying to use a multiboot CD that i made with ESXi installer and MOA on the same disk, to possibly achieve:
1 - Create a Cold Boot VM with MOA (Windows 2008 R2)
2 - Test this VM with VMware Player on MOA
3 - Reboot
4 - Install ESXi
5 - Create a "Work VM" from vsphere client (from my desktop on a WAN)
6 - Boot MOA on this "Work VM"
7 - Use moa to Add my VM created on step 1 to the new ESXi
I can only get to step 5, i cannot find a way to import the VM to ESXi, tried adding converter 5 to MOA Build, but no dice. Mostly i cannot see my ESXi Host, or i get other errors when trying to run converter 5, or 4, or 3, or the converter triyng to connect on a Vserver, witch i dont have at that point.
So, anyone has any light for me, or another possible scenario to achieve my goal?
