Hi all, I'm on a client site and am having to run some tests on their internal network at night from the hotel. I have a windows .1 host running workstation 10.5 and am using a Fedora 20 guest with most of my tools on it. I can't get the guest to bridge through the sonicwall vpn client and when I boot the guest up with NAT networking set it starts fine and I can ping and reach the client internal networks. BUT... when I start running some tests (Nessus, Nmap, etc.) I notice a ping session I have running in a terminal window as a test falters and then reports destination unreachable. It does this every time.
The sonicwall vpn client has a static IP assigned by the client and I have a static IP I can use for the guest, but I when I configure the network to use the static IP it will connect using bridge mode but nothing routes back to me. I should also note the client has split tunneling set and is not willing to change it.
Has anyone dealt with something similar before?
