Automatically disabling Fn+Function keys in VM?

I'm a long time PC user but I recently switched to Mac.  I have to say that Fusion is pretty remarkable.  It's eerie seeing Windows Vista happily running along in my shiny new iMac.

One thing that would make things even more integrated for me is to be able to:

- Use the function keys in Windows without pressing Fn

- AND use the special functions printed on the function keys WITHOUT pressing Fn

In other words, I want to have this option checked on or off depending on whether I'm in Windows or Mac OS:

System Preferences > Keyboard and Mouse > Keyboard > "Use the F1-F12 keys to control software functions"

Is that possible?  Does this require some scripting?  Anybody know how to do this?

I'm using Leopard 10.5, Fusion 1.1.2, Windows Vista Home Premium.
