Template VM patching on vCenter Protect standard

Hi all,

Currenctly I'm using VMware vCenter protect standard version for offline patching of VMs.

I would like to know whether it supports Template VM Patching or not in standard version.

I read the details under theadvanced version in "http://www.vmware.com/in/products/datacenter-virtualization/vcenter-protect/advanced.html".

If yes can any of you post the detailed procedure/link describing the Template VM patching .
