Im having a problem in opensuse 11.4 after installing any of the vmware desktop apps (workstation 7.1.4 and 8, server, player etc...). When I first installed workstation 7.1.4 a few months ago it worked fine for a while until I first updated the kernel. After that none VMware app could recompile again the modules, I always got the same error box when I try to launch any vmware app after installation (I've installed and uninstalled a few versions of player,server and workstation with always the same results, of course only one of them a time.)
You can see the image with the error box, Its in spanish, but It basically says that opensuse cant execute the command usr/bin/vmware etc...
I think its something that has to do with modules and services, but I dont know how to solve it. I've got the same issue in 2 different boxes, one running opensuse 11.4 32bits and the other running opensuse 11.4 64bits. I've got some other linux flavours running in those boxes and I dont have this problem with any of them
