VM tools stand alone installer

Hi

i'm trying to run the standalone vmtools installer inside a vmimage and when i double click in it i see soe activity but nothing else after.

any idea what to do ?

i ran the exe cause trying to update the tools from the menu in vmware ws 9 i get some error
