Committing snapshots when there are no snapshot entries in the Snapshot Manager
Above problem on my esxi 4.1.0 host.
Committing snapshots from the ESX/ESXi command line failed.
Cloning failed: Failed to clone disk: Bad file descriptor (589833)
Created a new snapshot and remove all does not help (VM was shutdown).
Use of Cmware converter; also failed.
Installed esxi 5 on a host, and used the option consilidate. Not successful.
What can i do? The strange and good thing is, the machine is still running.
