vcenter storage monitoring service fails

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help me out. We upgrade to vcenter 5.0 update 2 and now the storage monitoring service fails to initialize. I have done all of the KB tips in the KB's surronding this topic to include:

- ensured my vcdb file was formatted correcty.

- ensured correct ad account was used as the service log on account

- ensured the ad account had ownership permissions on the db

- ensured Java tomcat thresholds were adequate

We are running it against an sql 08r2 db.

Any new ideas would be greatly appreciated.
